Opened in February 2012, SCFHC’s Wellness Center at Jefferson High School provides comprehensive primary care services to both students and the surrounding community in South Los Angeles. As a school-based health center, it makes accessing medical care as simple as walking down the hallway. All students are eligible for services, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay, with a signed parental or guardian consent form required for treatment.
