Dear Neighbor,

We know many of you are feeling the effects of this week’s heat wave. The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Heat Warning for much of Los Angeles County through Thursday, July 16, at 8:00 p.m.

  • Wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothing whenever possible.
  • Check on those most vulnerable to heat-related illness, including older adults, young children, pregnant people, and individuals with chronic health conditions.
  • Wear sunscreen and limit prolonged sun exposure.
